⚠️ CSX PROJECT UPDATE SATURDAY 7/26 ⚠️

With some visuals courtesy of the Freeport Fire Department, here's the latest on the current CSX railroad tie replacement project rolling through town:

WEBSTER ROAD: crew is paving today with goal to open road hopefully Sunday, maybe Monday

Progress continues across the DESERT ROAD overpass to HUNTER ROAD

WEST STREET / BOW STREET / SCHOOL STREET: All closed and impassable until Monday or Tuesday (Detour via EAST STREET)

UPPER MAST LANDING is still open and passable as of today

**Work on EAST STREET will not be done at this time**

**Work on FERNALD ROAD will not be done at this time: Fernald and its side streets will not be dug up or closed as part of this work. (Freeport FD is contacting the residents of Fernald Road to advise the road will not be closed.)**
