TOWN OF FREEPORT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Public Hearings have been scheduled for February 27, 2024, at the Freeport Town Council meeting starting at 6:00 pm at Freeport Town Hall, 30 Main Street, Freeport to discuss the following:

 

  • A new Special Amusement Permit for Linda Beans Maine Kitchen & Topside Tavern, 88 Main Street
  • Amendments to Chapter 2, Administrative Code, Section 510.1 through Section 510.4 to designate the Public Works Director as the Head as the of Public Works Department and to allow the Town Manager discretion as to whether to designate the Public Works Director as the Overseer of the Town Solid Waste/Recycling Facility. 
  • A new Liquor License for the Kendall Tavern, 213 Main Street.
