MESSAGE BOARD

  • Our bulletin board is composed of individual and groups of bulletins. The bulletin board is shown on Comcast Channel 3 as well as on our Live Stream. Content ranges from municipal announcements and information to community announcements. The fastest way to get your announcement on the bulletin board is to email to us at  FCTV-3 Email at the link below. All we need is the who, what, when, where, etc.  Make sure to include all necessary information.  If you have a picture, send it along as an attachment in .jpg or .png format.  Please, NO .pdf files!!!  We will take it from there!!

Freeport Community Television Channel 3, is a community access station located at Freeport Town Hall in Freeport, Maine. FCTV-3 is a Government and Public Access facility which covers municipal and community events taking place in the Town of Freeport.
 
The Town holds a Franchise Agreement with Comcast that provides a cable channel for its televising facilities.  In addition to being available on Comcast Channel 3 in Freeport, our Live Stream and our VOD (Video-on-Demand) system are available via the Internet on your web browser, at the links above and on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Roku, Android and iOS devices on the Cablecast App.  Instructions for accessing our services on these platforms is available on the FCTV3 Home Page and "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)".
 
The core of our programming consists of local governmental meetings, special local events, and public access programs produced at other community television stations in Maine, and from around the country.  We also have a message board that runs community service announcements before and after programs.  FCTV-3 also has a Remote Production Vehicle for cablecasting and recording from remote sites.
