Public Input Sought on Recycling Containers

The Town Council will discuss a proposal to relocate or remove some or all of the public recycling containers (a.k.a. "Silver Bullets") at the 3/19/19 Town Council Meeting. The recycling container are currently located at North Freeport (adjacent to Doherty's Market), Hunter Road (adjacent to Public Works Department), West Street (behind the Public Safety building), and South Freeport Village (adjacent to former Village Store). This proposal is being considered due to excessive levels of contamination in the recycling containers at all four locations.
