PUBLIC NOTICE – SITEWALK

Monday, December 20, 2021 – 2:00 pm

On Monday, December 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm the Freeport Project Review Board will conduct a sitewalk at vacant property on US Route One / Stagecoach Road (Tax Assessor Map23, Lots 45, 49, & 64) where a ground mounted solar facility is being proposed.

The Board will be looking at the site in relation to the pending application for Site Plan Approval which includes a solar farm with a 4.990 MWac system and associated site improvements.  The solar array development area of the project will be approximately 12.67 acres; about 1.99 acres of solar array development area in the portion of the property in the Rural Residential I (RR-I) District and 10.68 acres of solar array development area in the portion of the property in the Commercial I (C-I) District. 

The walk will begin from the portion of the property on US Route One.  There is an existing driveway entrance and paved and gravel areas for parking.  The entrance to the site is between Cold River Vodka (437 US Route One) and DiMillo’s Freeport Yacht Sales (423 US Route One).  The public is welcome to attend.
