Update: 6-3-2019

The Town council has given the park the go ahead to open in a limited capacity to camping. We have a number of things to take care of before this happens, including getting staff back on to clean, answer phones, etc… We will open reservation to online only on Tuesday, June 9th. The link will be posted on the website at 9am. The actual campground will open on Friday, June 19th with limited sites. Seasonal campers will be allowed to bring their campers in on Monday, June 15th to get situated before we open the other campsites. We will have a bulletin board by the gate where campers can self check in by picking up their registration. All campers will need to make a reservation online at least 24 hours before arrival. There will be no walk-in same day reservations. Campers will also need to bring their own rubbish to the dumpsters for the safety of our maintenance staff. The group shelters will remain closed indefinitely. The playground is closed until at least the end of the month. The beach remains open as long as folks avoid overcrowding. We will expand day use parking in the next day or so. Please park all trucks with trailers in the lot by the gatehouse. Reservations are for in state only through July at this point unless you have quarantined at a private residence in Maine for two weeks. You will need to contact the managers office if you are registering with an out of state address. Reservations will be checked each day and any from out of state that have not been cleared will be canceled.

Thanks and hope to see you soon,

Neil
