Power Outage - 4/10/20 8:00 PM Update

As of 8:00PM Friday April 10 Central Maine Power (CMP) is still reporting approximately 180,000 customers without power in their service area, including approximatly 1,350 customers in the Town of Freeport.
CMP is expected to begin restoration of power to areas of Town shortly. Estimated times of restoration for individual roads are being posted as they are made available at: https://ecmp.cmpco.com/OutageReports/CMPCUMBERLANDFREEPORT.html
The sheer number of outages coupled with the surprising strength of last night’s storm may lead to extended outages.
At this time, Freeport Public Works is reporting that all public roads are passable.
