Information on Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District Request from L.L. Bean, Inc. & Notice of Public Hearing

  1. A Public Hearing has been scheduled for February 25, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Freeport Town Council Chambers  to discuss a Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District request from L.L. Bean, Inc.
  2. Information on the proposedTax Increment Finance (TIF) District can be viewed below. Additional information will be posted as it is made available prior to the 02/25/20 Public Hearing.

    2. Memo on TIF District propsal from Freeport Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) to Freeport Town Council 
  3. L.L.Bean will be hosting a public information sharing session on the proposed TIF at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport on Thursday, 02/13/20 from 6:30-8:00PM. This is not a Town meeting, but L.L.Bean has invited Freeport Residents to attend. View official invitation from L.L.Bean here.
