Important Message from Freeport Post Office

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Freeport Post Office is strongly encouraging the following actions to obtain stamps, mail letters and parcels.

1. TO OBTAIN POSTAGE STAMPS - If you receive mail delivery at your residence, you can call the Freeport Post Office at 865-4231 to have a stamps by mail
purchase envelope delivered to you at your residence. This will allow you to
pay for and receive Forever postage stamps to your residence. This is usually
a 1 business day turn around from the time you leave your stamps by mail
envelope our for your carrier to bring back to the Post Office. No postage is
needed for the stamps by mail envelope.

2. TO MAIL PACKAGES - If you have an essential package to be mailed, you can go to USPS.com and create an account. From this account you can print postage,
pay for postage and request a carrier pick-up for your package. You can also
request FREE Priority Flat Rate mailing boxes through USPS.com. When you use flat rate Priority Packaging you do not have to worry about the weight. If it
fits, it ships.

Please do not approach your carrier at this time. We will leave your mail by
your door if it does not fit in your mail box.
