Code Red - Reverse 911

The Town of Freeport is encouraging residents to register their cell phone numbers with the “Code Red” reverse-911 system maintained by Cumberland County. This is a program which allows automatic calls to be sent out to specific geographic areas, but if you don’t have a landline (as many people don’t anymore), you will need to register your cell phone number to receive geographic-based alerts.
