Update From the Governor's Climate Council - How Maine is Leading the Charge Against Climate Change

This event will cover how climate change is affecting Maine, introduce Maine’s new Climate Council, and give Freeport residents tips on how they can engage with climate policy in the State.

Our speaker Cassaundra Rose is the Climate Council Coordinator with the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. As a Senior Science Analyst, Cassaundra has managed a policy and communications program for the American Geosciences Institute. Cassaundra has more than ten years of academic climate research experience. Daniel Kleban of Maine Beer Co., and a member of the Maine Climate Council, and Naomi Beal, Executive director of passivhausMAINE and member of the Council’s Buildings, Infrastructure, and Housing working group, will also give remarks.
