Energy Efficiency Rebates

energy efficiency

Making your home, car, and lawncare equipment more energy efficient has a lot of benefits. Some energy efficiency measures are simple habit changes, while others are bigger investments in your equipment or structure. Did you know that the Town of Freeport and Efficiency Maine have several programs with incentives to make your home or business more comfortable and energy efficient?

One of the biggest efficiency changes you can make is updating your heating and cooling systems. Use this tool to estimate what your annual heating costs would be using different heating systems.

Rebates and incentive programs change as funding becomes available. Remember to check Efficiency Maine's website periodically for new programs. If you are eligible for Efficiency Maine's Low and Moderate Income Rebates - you can combine rebates with Town of Freeport's Electrify Everything! rebate program to save even more!
