- Handle with care
- Don't shake or bump
- Isolate and look for indicators, such as:
- No return address
- Strange odor
- Possibly mailed from a foreign country
- Excessive postage
- Misspelled words
- Addressed to title only or incorrect title
- Excessive tape or string
- Badly typed or written
- Oily stains, discolorations, or crystalization on wrapper
- Protruding wires
- Lopsided or uneven
- Wrong title with name
- Restrictive markings
- Rigid or bulky
- Don't open, smell or taste
