The Freeport Historical Society is holding their 43rd Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 24th from 7:00 pm. – 9:00 p.m. at the Freeport Community Library. In addition to their business meeting and presentation of awards, special guest speaker Jane Nylander, author of many articles and books will address the audience with a presentation titled “Items of good taste and perfect specimens of economy – Freeport homes in the 1830s.” All are welcome to attend the meeting and lecture.
